“Useless Accessories” depicts a modern day romance between a prince and a princess of the 21st century. Their airbnb is their castle. Their crowns are fake and made out of random objects. Her nails are fake, post-ons glued to her latex gloves. Her headphones are fake, made out of real princess hair. These “useless accessories” serve as a metaphor for the disposable and replaceable nature of modern relationships, where connections, much like the accessories themselves, are easily exchanged and quickly discarded.
